Fiorella Boutique™ Bianca Pear Ring
The one that gets asked about.
The one that gets asked about.
A pear cut is the hardest shape to set well, which is why so few pieces at this price attempt it. The point has to be protected or it chips, and if the setting is even slightly off-centre the whole ring looks crooked on the hand. The Bianca uses a V-prong that wraps the tip completely, and the stone is set on a marked axis so it runs true down the finger every time. Pavé stones continue two-thirds of the way around a 2.4mm band, and the underside is open-galleried so light passes through rather than dying against solid metal. This is the piece in the range that people stop and ask about.

Care
The point of a pear cut is its most vulnerable area. Remove the ring before manual work or sport, and check the V-prong occasionally to confirm it still sits flush against the tip.
